I have a Kärcher HDS 895 (Art. no. 1.025-851.0) which is currently experiencing a pressure issue.
Symptoms:
On startup, the machine builds pressure normally (approx. 240 bar) and stabilises.
When I start washing (trigger gun open), the pressure drops to approx. 80 bar and remains there.
Pressure and flow control set to maximum has no effect.
Without the high-pressure hose connected, the machine is unable to build pressure at all – water flows freely out of the outlet.
Checks performed:
Water supply and filter checked – OK
No air in the system
No visible external leaks
Based on this, I suspect internal leakage in the pump (possibly inlet/outlet valves or unloader valve).
I am therefore considering servicing the pump.
Questions:
Do you agree that this is likely related to the pump valves / unloader?
Is there a recommended pump service kit for this model?
Would the following kit be suitable for my machine?
